We went to Lake Powell starting on Labor Day. We went to Escalante canyon and found a great spot. There was nice sand for the kids to play in and NO ants. :) In the cave, was a big pool of water. Each day we found smooth water to go skiing on. :)
Not too far down the canyon were these ruins. They were restored by some college students.
