We did things backwards this year. We went to my grandparent's house for Christmas eve. We played games. Then we spent the night at my parent's house. Colton didn't sleep very well. Maybe he was excited for Christmas (but probably all of the sugar). He did a great job opening a present and then playing for a few minutes until it was his turn to open a present again. He had by far the most presents.
My mom got a firetruck pedal car to complement the pedal car she has from when she was a kid. Colton enjoyed pushing the pedal car around the cement, but first he had to be Colton and make sure that he could stand up in in.
Then we went to Jason's parents for the rest of the day. Colton opened about 5 presents and then he was ready to just play. We let the kids go play while we opened our presents. Then after dinner, Colton opened the rest of his presents.
Colton liked playing in the snow with the snow shovel from his grandma and grandpa. He always likes to help his dad shovel snow and now he has a shovel just his size.
